History
Premier Physician's Insurance Company, a risk retention group, was created in 2006 by prominent women's care specialist Dr. Warren Volker to address the emerging medical malpractice insurance crisis by introducing a physician-owned & controlled, locally-based alternative for physicians.
Premier Physicians is based on a unique model encompassing evidence based medicine, binding arbitration and active risk management strategies, to provide a stable, long term solution for medical malpractice liability insurance.

As a risk retention group, Premier Physicians is owned by its homogeneous members (physicians) for the purpose of addressing similar liability exposure; medical malpractice liability insurance. We provide solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of physicians whatever their medical specialty. Premier Physicians does not exclude any specialty from coverage, including Homeopaths, Dentists and Chiropractors.
Capstone Management Group functions as the program manager for the Medical Malpractice Liability RRG, Premier Physicians Insurance Company.
Supported by Lloyds of London reinsurers, Capstone Management Group (having more than 35 years experience in this field) has structured Premier Physicians' reinsurance program to provide protection against catastrophic losses while also protecting the company's surpluses.
Premier Physicians believes that medicine is a local business and so is your medical malpractice coverage. Premier Physicians relies upon local physician advisory councils in each market our coverage is offered. This allows Premier Physicians to best meet the needs of its members.
