Featured Premier Physician
 In 2005, dermatologist Scott MacLeod, D.O., felt it was time to get away from a conveyor belt procession of patients in favor of delivering personal, high-quality service. From this decision, Dermatherapy was born. In practice since 1991 and in Las Vegas since 1995, MacLeod's mission when he opened Dermatherapy was and remains dedication to quality of care. MacLeod personally sees no more than 25 patients daily - less than half the industry norm, as a testament to this mission.
The Dermatherapy facility is a 2,500-square-foot office with two exam rooms, two procedure rooms and three treatment rooms. The full-service dermatology practice is comprised of two other physicians in addition to MacLeod: Andrea Fong, D.O., and Dominick Addonizio, M.D.
Dermatherapy covers all three disciplines - medical, cosmetic and surgical - and all procedures are performed by one of the three physicians. Dr. MacLeod focuses on the medical end of the practice, treating skin disorders such as acne and psoriasis. Dr. Fong has been with the practice since 2005 and handles all cosmetic procedures such as skin rejuvenation, Botox, laser hair removal and more. Dr. Addonizio joined the practice in 2006, and performs surgical procedures.
Dermatherapy is dedicated to spending as much time as necessary with patients, stressing open lines of communication and direct contact with the physicians throughout all phases of treatment. Dermatherapy's physicians make sure patients feel comfortable with their care by avoiding the common practice of up-selling unnecessary treatments. And, the practice's dedication extends to other physicians, as referring physicians can be assured they'll be kept in the loop on their patients' care, promptly receiving consult letters following treatment.
